Julia is one of the founding directors of BJC Europe. She has years of successful hands on experience in business change programmes, process design and service strategy and development. She has led many international projects bringing together two or more organizations following a merger or joint venture. Mentoring 'on the job' is a key aspect of her positive style.
Julia settled in the Sophia Antipolis area in 1987 where she enjoys hiking and skiing in the mountains. She plays on the local tennis team, and now that 2 out of 3 boys have left the nest, enjoys travelling for pleasure, and not just for business!

Alison came to BJC Europe in 2003 with 15 years experience in Customer Relations, Marketing and Communications. Her excellent interpersonal skills are invaluable in project managing virtual, global and cross-functional teams. She has had considerable practice in training the sales force to shift from product selling to solution selling. She has a knack for turning complex ideas into clear, simple, high impact messages. Alison is known for always putting herself in the customer's shoes.
Alison moved to France after completing her degree and has worked there ever since. She married a Frenchman, her son is working in Paris for a multinational, and she is now not sure if she's more French than English! She loves the South of France lifestyle, and enjoys the beaches, the fine restaurants and hiking in the hills.

Karen is a qualified management accountant with a BA (Hons) degree in Modern Languages. She has 17+ years experience in the Telecoms and Oil Industries with both multi-national and small businesses. She enjoys the challenges of working with multiple nationalities and customs and through global and virtual teams. Karen has held various senior management positions including multi site Call Centre Manager and Site Manager for an office of 70 people in Sophia where she ran the facilities, finance and human resources.
After doing various crazy things in her past such as parachute jumps and learning to fly a plane with the RAF most of her energies outside of work are now spent trying to keep up with her 3 young children!

Hermann has over 20 years of experience in developing, delivering and managing ICT services. He has worked in France and Germany for American, English, Finnish and German companies, providing services to internal and external clients and interfacing routinely with director level business managers.
He achieves tangible results and benefits by developing a clear vision of the desired end result. He does this by combining his understanding of a broad range of technologies with a team-oriented approach, bridging communication gaps between technical and business communities across country boundaries.
Hermann's leisure activities depend on the altitude he is at: below sea level he is diving, at high altitude he is skiing and otherwise he is playing music.
